Rod Hamersley_
Rod is a founding partner and Executive Director of ADC_.
Rod has spent 20 years working within the property sector specialising in acquisitions and overseeing the development and management of properties in the commercial, residential and hotel sectors.
He led the acquisition and revitalisation of the state heritage-listed former Perth Girls School in East Perth. Partnering with the Western Australian Government, this landmark redevelopment project will transform the 1.8-hectare site into a world-class, mixed-use precinct for residents and visitors to the city.
In 2015, Rod also led the next iteration of the heritage-listed Julio’s Restaurant into the new 14-storey Sage Hotel in West Perth. He also played a key role in the identification and delivery of the award-winning Overton Terraces in Perth’s western suburbs – a project which set a new benchmark for luxury residential apartment design including achieving record pricing for the area.
Also an avid supporter of the arts, Rod recently formed a partnership with WA’s preeminent arts and cultural organisation, Artrage Inc. (Fringe World), to repurpose buildings within the Perth Girls School redevelopment into a key entertainment destination for the city.
Rod is responsible for leading the acquisition strategy for ADC_, for both investment and development properties, as well as being jointly responsible for day-to-day management activities of the group’s portfolio of companies and projects.
Rod is a licensed property valuer, holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Property & Marketing, and is a Responsible Manager under the group AFSL.
Adam Zorzi_
Adam is a founding partner and Executive Director of ADC_.
Highly regarded for his significant construction and development experience, Adam is considered one of WA’s most dynamic and knowledgeable property developers.
Connected and deeply insightful when it comes to WA property and construction, Adam’s ability to unite the best architects, planners, construction partners and financiers to deliver some of Perth’s most exciting and successful redevelopments is unrivalled.
A proud West Australian with a keen eye for local heritage development, refurbishment and restoration projects, Adam has led the revitalisation of some of Perth most distinct locations including the reimagining of Julio’s Restaurant and creation of the Sage Hotel in West Perth, the redevelopment of the historically significant Perth Girl’s School site in East Perth and the recreation of the 1900’s heritage Goods Shed in Claremont into a new cultural hub.
In 2011, Adam together with Rod Hamersley, established ADC_. A shared vision for reshaping some of Perth’s most distinct locales via clever, connected and lively development was the inspiration for the company which today boasts a portfolio of Perth’s most inventive and exceptional hotel, residential, office and mixed-use revitalisation and redevelopment projects.
Today, Adam directly manages the group’s capital raising and investor relations activity, legal and financial structuring as well as design, construction and development management of select projects.
Previously, Adam was an Executive Director and major shareholder of Australasian Property Investments Pty Ltd, and responsible for the acquisition and management of development projects worth in excess of $200 million.
Adam is also a State Advisory Board Member of Starlight Foundation and a Director of Toybox Charitable Children’s Trust. He is a Non-Executive Director and past Chairman of ASX listed human capital technology company Livehire Ltd (ASX:LVH).
NICK KING_
Nick is a Development Manager at ADC_, responsible for the delivery of projects from concept through to hand-over and also assisting with new site and investment acquisitions.
A strategic and perceptive business development professional, Nick has extensive commercial experience in both business and property development.
He has previously worked in development at Stockland, Australia’s largest diversified and listed property developer. As Assistant Development Manager he oversaw the planning and development of a 2,500-lot residential master-planned community.
Also a certified Chartered Accountant, Nick has broad commercial business experience having worked five years for leading Australian Big Four accounting firm KPMG, leading audit teams on SME and listed company engagements.
